Tour Overview
This 4-Island Sunset Snorkeling Tour & Bioluminescent Swim is designed as a relaxed but full afternoon and evening on the water. You meet the crew in Ao Nang or Railay, then transfer by small boat to the larger Siamese junk, where welcome drinks and a short safety talk set the tone for the trip.
The boat then cruises out towards the nearby islands, usually including Yawasam, Chicken Island, Poda Island and Phra Nang area, with plenty of time for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. Because the junk boat is stable and spacious, you can choose between active water time and simply resting on deck cushions while watching the coastline drift by.
As the afternoon light softens, the crew serves a Thai buffet dinner on board while you watch the sunset. After dark, the boat moves to a calm spot where you can carefully enter the sea for a short swim with bioluminescent plankton, which light up in soft blue sparks around your hands and feet, before you return to Railay or Ao Nang.
